Singer-Actress Nana Testifies in Court Against Robbery Suspect, Shares Emotional Impact
Nana, the singer and actress who was a victim of a robbery last November, recently shared a poignant message on her personal space before appearing as a witness in the trial of suspect A (34), who denies charges of robbery and assault against her and her mother.

On the 21st, Nana posted on her Instagram story, "May all the malicious criminal acts face their due punishment. You reap what you sow," expressing her anger towards A.

The Uijeongbu District Court Namyangju Branch Criminal Division 1 held the third trial for A, who is accused of breaking into Nana's home with a weapon and attempting to steal valuables, resulting in charges of robbery and assault.

A is accused of entering Nana's home in Guri City, Gyeonggi Province, on November 15th at 5:38 AM, armed with a weapon, threatening Nana and her mother, and demanding money, but was subdued by them.

Previously, Nana and her mother submitted medical reports stating they suffered injuries requiring 33 and 31 days of treatment, respectively. A denies the charges, claiming he entered with the intent of simple theft, did not carry a weapon, and was assaulted by Nana. He argues Nana's injuries are not defensive but offensive.

After being countersued for attempted murder following the crime, Nana showed an agitated response upon encountering the suspect. In court, she reportedly confronted A, saying, "Is this fun for you? Look me in the eye. Is it fun?" She also protested when A's lawyer delayed questioning, asking, "Why are you studying here?" and was cautioned by the judge.

On the witness stand, Nana testified, "When I heard the noise and went out, A was strangling my mother, and a knife was lying next to them. A had his head down and didn't see me approaching. A struggle ensued, and A was injured by the knife I wielded." She added, "While A and I were holding the knife, my mother woke up and helped persuade A to let go. During the confrontation, I screamed for help, but no one heard."

Nana's mother also testified, "Around 5:40 AM, I heard our dog barking and saw A entering from the balcony with a weapon. During the struggle, I was nearly unconscious from being strangled from behind, and when I woke up, my daughter was beside me, and the three of us were holding the knife. We persuaded A to let go for about 20 minutes."

After the testimony, Nana expressed, "I thought I was okay after this incident, but it seems to have left a trauma in my life. I no longer feel safe at home, and I get tense even when opening the door for deliveries."

Nana continued, "I thought I gave the suspect a chance and made the right choices, but I don't understand why the trial is dragging on and why I have to endure such humiliation. It feels like I'm being victimized repeatedly, and I hope the suspect stops here and reflects."

Meanwhile, A, who is on trial for robbery and assault, countersued Nana for attempted murder and special injury, claiming he was also injured during the crime. However, the police determined Nana's actions were self-defense and decided not to forward the case for prosecution.
