Korean Actor Kim Nam-gil Captivates Fans at Sold-Out Japan Fan Meeting
On the 18th and 19th, Kim Nam-gil held his 2026 fan meeting 'G.I.L' in Osaka and Tokyo, with all seats sold out. The event featured a sound check event that allowed fans to watch the rehearsal, generating an enthusiastic response. Despite the early conclusion due to Shinkansen schedules and venue operation times, the two-day event spanned approximately 540 minutes, creating unforgettable moments with the audience.
In Osaka, Kim opened with Radiohead's 'Creep,' and in Tokyo, he performed DAY6's 'Time of Our Life,' followed by Yonezu Kenshi's 'Lemon' with a band sound, marking the official start of the fan meeting. Greeting fans with a bright smile after a year, he expressed his joy, and the audience responded with cheers, elevating the concert's energy.
Notably, Kim debuted the Japanese version of his single 'Going to You,' released last month, receiving enthusiastic applause from local fans. During the mini showcase, he shared stories about the song and its music video, heightening the event's excitement.
In the encore performance of 'Can't I Love You,' Kim descended into the audience, making eye contact and engaging in a memorable fan event, showcasing his deep appreciation for his fans. Fans reciprocated with a slogan event during the group photo time, creating unforgettable moments for everyone.
Following his fan meeting in Seoul, Kim Nam-gil will continue his busy schedule with the upcoming film 'Dream Palace,' where he plays the role of Prince Suyang, and his confirmed role in the new SBS drama 'Nightmare.'
