According to a report by TenAsia on the 222nd day, Ryu Seung-ryong will star in the Korean drama adaptation of one of Japanese author Keigo Higashino's most famous works, 'The Miracles of the Namiya General Store'. The story revolves around three thieves who hide in a general store that connects the past and present, responding to advice-seeking letters and uncovering miraculous secrets intertwined with their lives. The original novel topped the sales charts for Japanese novels in Korea from 2007 to 2016.
The Korean adaptation has already garnered attention with the casting announcements of Lee Chae-min, Moon Sang-min, Kim Hye-yoon, Yum Jung-ah, Park Se-wan, and Ryu Seung-ryong. The addition of Go Ah-sung to the cast has further heightened anticipation.
Go Ah-sung's performance in 'Uncle Vanya' will open on the 7th of next month at the LG SIGNATURE Hall in LG Arts Center Seoul. Her continuous work in the industry keeps audiences intrigued about her future endeavors.
