French Broadcaster Ida Daussy Opens Up About Life After Divorce and Remarriage

French broadcaster Ida Daussy recently discussed her divorce from her ex-husband.
On the 22nd, a video titled "Ida Daussy's Second Life Choice After Receiving No Child Support Post-Divorce? (Jang Young-ran Shocked)" was uploaded on 'A-Class Jang Young-ran.'

Ida Daussy debuted in 1992 through EBS and gained popularity after appearing on KBS's 'Morning Yard - Couple Exploration,' leading to various broadcasting opportunities.

When Jang Young-ran asked if she earned a lot of money, Ida Daussy replied, "Initially, I didn't know much, so I didn't charge high fees. I got a manager later. I didn't expect to be in broadcasting for this long. It's been 30 years."

Jang Young-ran then inquired about her income, asking if she had bought any buildings, to which Ida Daussy revealed, "I got divorced during that time." Ida Daussy married a Korean man in 1993 but divorced in 2010.

"I divorced after 16 years of marriage. It was very difficult," Ida Daussy shared. "I was fortunate to be earning money at that time. I raised two children on my own and received no child support. The kids did well in school and studied for a long time."

When asked about her recent activities, Ida Daussy said, "I continued broadcasting, but not as frequently as before. After the divorce, I prepared to become a professor. I had previously taught as a part-time lecturer at Yonsei University but quit to focus on broadcasting. I enjoy teaching. Working as a professor made it a bit tricky to pursue entertainment broadcasting."

Ida Daussy explained, "We lived in the same neighborhood, Seorae Village, and knew each other as parents. After my divorce, I spent 10 years raising my kids alone. My current husband was considering divorce from his then-wife, and we became close as I offered advice. We felt comfortable together."

Upon remarrying, her two sons told her, "Mom, live your life," as they were already grown. Ida Daussy expressed her affection for her children, saying, "My husband and I share many common interests, love Korea, and adore Busan."

Ida Daussy remarried a French national residing in Korea in 2019, forming a new family.
