Lee Seo-jin Shares Hilarious Story of Setting Up a Blind Date for Kim Kwang-kyu

Actor Lee Seo-jin (55) recently shared a humorous anecdote about arranging a blind date for fellow actor Kim Kwang-kyu (58).

On the October 21st episode of KBS1's 'Morning Yard,' during the Tuesday segment 'With the Famous,' Lee Seo-jin and Go Ah-sung, stars of the play 'Uncle Vanya,' made an appearance.

During the show, Lee Seo-jin recounted his first encounter with Kim Kwang-kyu, saying, "I didn't really like him at first. We didn't know each other well on set, and even if you're older, you should be respectful. But he suddenly spoke informally to me. He's from Busan and said something like 'You've worked hard' in dialect. I thought, 'Why is he speaking informally?'"

He continued, "We ended up working on another project together. He joined midway, and the director knew I wasn't fond of him, so he asked for my permission. I wasn't in a position to object, so I said I didn't want to interfere. Once we started working together, I found him hilarious and a bit immature, which brought us closer."

Lee Seo-jin also revealed that he once set up a blind date for the unmarried Kim Kwang-kyu. "I felt really sorry for the woman," he said, adding, "I had to beg her to meet him. She wasn't very keen on the idea." This confession elicited laughter.

He further disclosed, "Despite his kind appearance, he's quite picky and has high standards."
