Lee Ji-hye Joins ENA's New Crime Thriller 'Scarecrow'
Actress Lee Ji-hye is set to star in ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Scarecrow'.

Scheduled to premiere on the 20th, 'Scarecrow' is a crime thriller that follows a detective investigating a series of murders. The plot thickens as he unexpectedly teams up with someone he despises. The drama spans from 1988 to 2019, unraveling the truth behind two men's intertwined fates of enmity and hatred.

Lee Ji-hye takes on the role of 'Lee Sook-hee', a police officer at Gangseong Police Station. Her character works alongside Kang Tae-joo (played by Park Hae-soo) to uncover the truth behind the long-unsolved 'Gangseong Serial Murder Case' and capture the real culprit.

Having honed her skills in the theater world, Lee Ji-hye has recently expanded her career into media, establishing herself as a reliable actress. In her previous work, JTBC's 'My Youth', she impressed viewers as the realistic variety show PD 'Jin So-ra'. In the Wavve original 'The 4th Love Revolution', she made a bold transformation as the legendary computer science professor 'Eum Nan-sae'.

Additionally, in the recent JTBC drama 'Love Me', she portrayed 'Bae Soo-jin', an obstetrician and a supportive ally to Seo Joon-kyung (played by Seo Hyun-jin), delivering both blunt truths and realistic comfort, showcasing her wide acting range.

With each project, Lee Ji-hye has demonstrated her unique ability to embody diverse characters. Anticipation is high for her performance in 'Scarecrow', which deals with the revelation of the true culprit after 33 years. Her portrayal of 'Lee Sook-hee', set against the backdrop of a 30-year-spanning narrative, is eagerly awaited.

Meanwhile, 'Scarecrow', featuring Lee Ji-hye, will premiere on ENA on the 20th at 10 PM and will also be available on KT Genie TV and TVING.
