Gong Seung-yeon discussed her role in '21st Century Grand Prince's Wife', saying, "There are many scenes involving tea drinking, and I thought my posture and movements would be different in a hanbok, so I took tea ceremony classes."

When Jang Do-yeon asked for specifics, Gong explained, "The focus was on visual aspects, and they taught quickly. I was told not to put my fingers through the teacup handle. It's quite challenging to hold it with just fingertips. The handle is very thin, unlike a mug."

Gong also revealed that she learned to smoke while preparing for the film 'Aloners'. She said, "I really disliked the smell of cigarettes. I smoked out of obligation and felt dizzy. I bought every type of cigarette to find the right one. I also tried different lighters to find one that suited me, keeping them all in a pouch. One morning, I realized I had left my script and bag behind."

She added, "The security guard told me I left my bag, which was full of various cigarettes and lighters. It was embarrassing." She mentioned that this happened at the apartment in Geumho-dong where Jang Do-yeon lived. Jang responded, "I watched that project while living in Geumho-dong. It was a great comfort when I was feeling down. Wow, that cigarette smoke was from our apartment."
