Actor Ahn Jae-hyun (38) has embarked on his first cohabitation experience post-divorce through tvN's 'Gugidong Friends.'
The episode aired on the 10th showcased Ahn Jae-hyun beginning his new living arrangement with friends of the same age. Having been living alone for seven years since his divorce in 2020, Ahn displayed a charming contrast between his model-like perfect visuals and his unexpectedly clumsy nature.
Early in the move-in process, Ahn struggled with his own belongings but quickly assumed the role of a gentleman upon meeting his friend Kyung Soo-jin. He offered to carry her heavy luggage, displaying a reliable side, but soon filled the screen with his heavy breathing, providing a humorous twist. His enthusiasm was met with a lack of stamina, drawing empathetic laughter from viewers.
To break the initial awkwardness in the new environment, Ahn resorted to enthusiastic clapping. His attempt to lighten the mood with loud applause brought smiles. The highlight was the room selection via a ladder game. Upon securing the 'green room,' Ahn's reaction was a mix of joy and despair, culminating in a weak 'jump' as he collapsed to the floor.
Ahn was visibly overwhelmed by the 18kg giant octopus prepared by Jang Geun-suk. Keeping his distance, he humorously suggested, "Let's just keep it as a pet," while maintaining a cautious stance from the sink. Despite his apprehension, he eventually assisted Jang in handling the octopus, clutching its trembling legs and adding to the comedic scene.
'Gugidong Friends' airs every Friday at 8:35 PM.
