Singer Lee Sang-min has confessed that his past debt was greater than the previously reported 6.9 billion won.
On the 13th, a preview video titled 'Lee Sang-min, a Past Unmatched by Serial Entrepreneurs Lee Bong-won and Kim Byung-hyun' was posted on the SBS Entertainment YouTube channel as part of 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny'.
It was mentioned that Lee Bong-won had failed 11 times and Kim Byung-hyun 6 times after starting businesses. Seo Jang-hoon commented, "When it comes to serial entrepreneurship, Lee Sang-min cannot be left out." Lee Sang-min responded, "From my perspective, the news about these two is not that significant." He continued, "Constantly being able to rebuild means it's not a failure. True failure is measured by the time it takes to rebuild after failing. It took me 20 years."
Kim Sook mentioned Lee Sang-min's past debt, saying, "Not to rank here, but the disclosed amount is 6 billion."
Lee Sang-min confessed, "Honestly, the 6.9 billion was just the starting amount." He added, "As I started earning more, creditors thought they should collect more. It's human nature; minds change." He further revealed, "I never talked about these amounts on broadcasts."
Lee Sang-min explained, "True failure is when someone you don't know comes to you and says, 'You owe me money.' Not anticipating having to pay such amounts is true failure." He also expressed gratitude to Kim Gura and Seo Jang-hoon for helping him rebuild his career.
