tvN's voice documentary 'I Am K', capturing the voices of global fans of K-content, is set to premiere.

'I Am K' explores the reasons and essence behind the K-content phenomenon through diverse perspectives and deep insights from both domestic and international figures related to K-content. Featuring 43 prominent figures from the Korean pop culture scene, renowned global scholars, and K-content fans as storytellers, the documentary will unfold a narrative through questions and answers about K-content. It promises to be an 'interview-centric voice documentary' like no other.

The first episode, airing on the 7th, will delve into the theme 'Why do you love K?' to examine the K-content phenomenon from multiple angles.

Notably, the episode will feature K-artists such as directors Park Chan-wook, Lee Jung-jae, Lee Junho, Im Si-wan, and Byun Woo-seok stepping in as 'interviewers', sparking curiosity. They will address various questions surrounding K-content from 27,400 fans across 30 countries worldwide. Questions like “What was your favorite K-drama in 2025?”, “Why is there an explosive reaction to K-movies?”, and “What are the strengths of K-POP?” will be posed, along with personal inquiries about their own works and music.

The documentary will reveal the unique charm of K-content as highlighted by global fans, such as the distinctive realism in Korean films and dramas and the impactful messages conveyed by K-POP artists through their music, piquing viewers' curiosity.

Sharp analyses from global scholars are also a highlight. Author Bernard Werber states, “The K-content phenomenon is not just a trend,” while 2024 Nobel Prize in Economics winner James A. Robinson explains the success of Korean films from an economic perspective. Roger Brown, former president of Berklee College of Music, provides insightful analysis on the genius aspects of K-POP.

Artists also share their firsthand experiences with the popularity of K-content. Byun Woo-seok expresses his amazement, saying, “I couldn't imagine this level of popularity. The power of K-content has truly grown.” Im Si-wan humorously requests fans to personally send him reasons why they love K-content via his social media.

Lee Junho hints at the secret behind K-content's global appeal, noting, “Creating something that everyone can relate to and enjoy is a strength of our country's content.” This adds to the anticipation of uncovering the authenticity and hidden driving forces behind K-content.

'I Am K' will air its first episode on the 7th at 10:10 PM, followed by the second episode on the 8th at 10:40 PM.
