Actress Jo Ah-ram (25) is set to star alongside Seo Kang-joon (32) in a new romantic drama.
Jo Ah-ram has been cast as Park Soo-ah in the upcoming KBS2 weekend mini-series 'A Different Love Than You,' scheduled to air in the latter half of this year. The drama follows a couple of ten years, Nam Goong-ho (played by Seo Kang-joon) and Lee Mi-do (played by Ahn Eun-jin), as they encounter unfamiliar emotions in their once-familiar relationship.
In the series, Jo Ah-ram's character, Park Soo-ah, is an employee in the Hunmin Confectionery TF team and a junior colleague of Nam Goong-ho. The two characters, connected by a special past, reunite at work, sparking new emotions in Park Soo-ah's heart.
Park Soo-ah's appearance in Nam Goong-ho's life is expected to bring changes to his routine, creating a new and exciting romantic dynamic. Anticipation is high for the chemistry between Jo Ah-ram and Seo Kang-joon.
Jo Ah-ram previously portrayed the character Jeon So-ra, a surgical resident, in the JTBC drama 'Doctor Cha Jung-sook,' where she captivated audiences with her portrayal of a prickly yet kind-hearted perfectionist. She also showcased her talent in the tvN drama 'Thank You' as Yoon Seo-jin, a capable and rational new recruit in the audit team, further proving her growth as an actress. In her film debut 'Victory,' she played Se-hyun, an FM leader who transferred from Seoul, perfectly embodying the late 90s vibe and making a strong impression on the big screen.
Jo Ah-ram's diverse acting range continued in the MBC drama 'To the Moon,' where she played Kim Ji-song, an MZ employee in the Maron Confectionery accounting team, exuding quirky charm. She portrayed a long-distance relationship with Jang Hao (played by Wei Lin) in the series. Her performance earned her the '2025 MBC Drama Awards' Best New Actress award, solidifying her status as a rising star.
'A Different Love Than You' is set to air in the second half of 2026.
