Wrestling Legend Shim Kwon-ho Stuns with Transformation on 'Joseon's Love' Amid Liver Cancer Recovery

Shim Kwon-ho, the legendary wrestler recovering from liver cancer, amazed everyone with his transformed appearance on TV CHOSUN's variety show 'Joseon's Love'. He also embarked on a healing trip to Jeju Island with fellow celebrities Yoon Jung-soo and Choi Hong-man.

On the episode aired on the 6th, Shim Kwon-ho, who had previously shocked fans with his early-stage liver cancer diagnosis, returned looking healthier than ever.

After surgery, Shim's improved complexion and weight gain surprised Hwang Bo-ra, who exclaimed, "Is that really the same person?" Shim confidently shared, "I even played soccer last week. People didn't realize I was sick." With a new hairstyle and outfit, he joked, "I could charm anyone now," and even posed for a mock coffee commercial, bringing laughter to the set.

At Jeju Airport, 'entertainment networker' Yoon Jung-soo and '6-year Jeju resident' Choi Hong-man greeted Shim. The trio, consisting of the 158cm tall Shim, the not-so-tall Yoon, and the towering 217cm Choi, created a comical scene. Choi Sung-kook quipped, "It's like 'The Lord of the Rings'. Choi Hong-man is 'Gandalf' and the other two are 'Hobbits'." Despite the playful banter, the genuine care they showed for each other was heartwarming. Watching from the studio, Kang Soo-ji remarked, "It feels so surreal," as the trio's unique chemistry heightened anticipation for their ongoing 'Jeju Healing Trip'.

'Joseon's Love' airs every Monday at 10 PM.
