K-Pop Group ILLIT Gears Up for Comeback with Mini Album 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI'

K-pop group ILLIT is set to ignite the comeback fever with their evolved visuals and expanded musical universe.

ILLIT, consisting of members YoonA, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha, unveiled the promotional calendar for their fourth mini-album 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI' on their official social media channels on the 6th.

According to the calendar, ILLIT will release 'GRWM' and 'FREE RIDER' version concept photos on the 7th and 14th, respectively. Following the buzz created by the 'PAW PAW' version, which featured members with their lookalike animals, fans can anticipate a new visual transformation. On the 21st, a highlight medley will be released, offering a sneak peek of the mini-album's tracks, further heightening the comeback excitement.

Subsequent content related to the title track 'It's Me' will be unveiled. Starting with a campaign film on the 23rd that reveals the song's message and sound, the 'IT'S ME' version concept photo will be released on the 24th. Official teasers for the music video will be dropped on the 27th and 28th, leading up to the grand reveal of the new album and full music video on the 30th at 6 PM.

A special festival is also planned to celebrate the release of the mini-album. ILLIT will host the 'ILLIT Seoul Children's Grand Park Festival' on May 5th, themed around the title track 'It's Me'. The event will feature various interactive booths for families and friends, along with a live performance of ILLIT's new songs, promising an electrifying atmosphere.

The intriguing vibe of the calendar image also draws attention. A single rose casually placed in a plastic bag leaves a striking impression, contrasting with ILLIT's previously showcased cute and whimsical style. This piques curiosity about the new and different aspects ILLIT will present with this release.

ILLIT's fourth mini-album 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI' is set to be released on the 30th. The album explores the deepening emotions in relationships, focusing on the inner self and embracing even complex feelings. The title track 'It's Me' boldly declares, "Your favorite is me!" at the moment when one ponders defining the relationship after a first date.
