CORTIS Unveils First Visuals for Mini Album 'GREENGREEN'
On April 6th at 9 PM, CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Gunho) shared the first album photos on their official social media. In the photos titled 'BRIDGE', the five members are seen strolling through the streets of Seoul in their natural, everyday looks, without any extravagant makeup or conceptual outfits, showcasing the raw essence of CORTIS.
The locations chosen for the shoot hold significant meaning. The 'Sinsa2 Overpass' (Gilmjunggyo) featured in the group photo is a path the members frequently traveled during their trainee days. Another photo shows a fence in front of an apartment, a place they passed by daily. The fence mentioned in the debut album's title track 'What You Want' is the very same one. The members have infused their personal stories into both the lyrics and visuals, adding a special touch to the album photos.
In conjunction with the album photo release, CORTIS is launching a unique promotion using Google Maps. As each version of the photos is unveiled, a specific member will leave a review on Google Maps at the corresponding location, sharing memories and stories tied to the shoot, adding further meaning to the album photos. On April 6th, Sunghyun left a review for the 'Sinsa2 Overpass' (Gilmjunggyo), the main photo's backdrop, stating, "This place holds many memories from my trainee days as I always passed under the bridge. Returning here for the album photo shoot brought back many memories from those times."
CORTIS will continue to release five versions of the mini 2nd album photos from April 6th to 10th. The official release of 'GREENGREEN', which explores what CORTIS aims for and what they stand against, is set for May 4th. The title track 'REDRED' will be pre-released on April 20th at 6 PM.
