Comedian Jung Sun-hee's Bold Statement on 'Malja Show' Sparks Attention

Comedian Jung Sun-hee made a bold statement on 'Malja Show,' drawing significant attention.

The KBS2 show 'Malja Show,' aired on the 6th, featured a special on 'Timing in Life.' During the episode, a concern was raised: "They say life is about timing, but it seems like only the worst moments come to me. Can my life ever blossom?"

Jung Sun-hee, 55, addressed her previous comment about living promiscuously from the age of 62, explaining, "I casually mentioned it on my personal channel, thinking 62 was far off. But now, it seems too soon."

She continued, "So, I plan to live wildly at 62. It will be no joke. You won't even be able to write an article about me because by the time you do, I'll have moved on to someone else." Co-host Kim Young-hee chimed in, "Among the celebrities I've seen, Jung Sun-hee and actress Nana have the top two figures."

Jung Sun-hee also joked, "Among comedians, we say, 'It's good to catch at least one of the front or back. I'll catch the back.' My legs are weak, so I can't be promiscuous. Anyway, expect me to change partners frequently at 62."

Kim Young-hee shared her own experiences of mistimed life events, revealing, "People think I debuted with 'Gag Concert's 'Two People Debate,' but it was a series of mistimed events."

Before becoming a KBS comedian, Kim Young-hee was selected as part of OBS's first open recruitment. However, the network didn't produce a comedy program, so she auditioned for MBC and was accepted. "At that time, MBC favored established comedians over newcomers," she said, recalling a time she played an audience role and cried at home afterward.

Kim Young-hee credited fellow comedian Jung Beom-kyun for her comeback as 'Malja Grandma.' "Though I had a long dry spell, I could return thanks to Jung Beom-kyun," she said, emphasizing that meeting him was the best timing in her life.

Listening to Kim Young-hee, guest Jung Sun-hee remarked, "People create good timing," adding that she had good people like Shin Dong-yup during crises. "Having someone who hands you a stone when you want to fight is dangerous. Having someone like Jung Beom-kyun to calm you is half the success," she praised Jung Beom-kyun.
