Chae Won-bin Ventures into Romantic Comedy with 'Sold Out Again' alongside Ahn Hyo-seop

Chae Won-bin takes on her first romantic comedy role in the upcoming SBS drama 'Sold Out Again', partnering with actor Ahn Hyo-seop.

Set to premiere on the 22nd, 'Sold Out Again' is a new Wednesday-Thursday drama that follows the story of perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee (aka Quail), played by Ahn Hyo-seop, and top-selling show host Dam Ye-jin, as they navigate their intertwined lives in a heartwarming seasonal romance.

In the drama, Chae Won-bin plays Dam Ye-jin, a passionate top show host known for her sold-out broadcasts. On her first venture into the romantic comedy genre, Chae expressed, "I'm nervous but excited to learn and experience new things. I've prepared diligently for this new challenge."

Chae further described her character, saying, "Dam Ye-jin is a lovable and endearing character. Her cute charm and warmth captivated me. Sometimes I want to tell her she's doing great and that I'm proud of her, while other times I want to give her a reality check. She feels like a part of me, or a close friend, which drew me to her even more."

The anticipation builds around how Chae will portray the professional show host Dam Ye-jin. Chae, who visited live show host broadcasts for research, shared, "It's not just about memorizing a script; they improvise and respond to live comments. I realized it's about managing a lot within a set time. I focused on capturing these details naturally."

Chae concluded, "'Sold Out Again' will be a comforting escape for those in the busy modern world. I hope to convey the same comfort I received while preparing for this project to the viewers. Expect a funny, cute, and warm rom-com."
