Jung Ji-woo, the sister of BTS member J-Hope, has revealed that she suffered a miscarriage following an IVF treatment.
On October 4th, Jung Ji-woo uploaded a video titled 'It's Been a While - Unspoken Updates' on her YouTube channel.
In the video, Jung Ji-woo discussed the challenging news of undergoing IVF treatment. She shared that she took a break from her activities for the past 5-6 months to focus on her physical and mental well-being. She explained that she decided to pursue IVF due to the stress and workload she was experiencing, in hopes of starting a family.
Jung Ji-woo began the IVF process in November of last year. Recently, she completed her first embryo transfer, but unfortunately, it did not result in a successful pregnancy. She candidly shared, "I experienced a chemical pregnancy." She added, "The first attempt ended with unfortunate news, but I have since recovered and am living healthily."
Jung Ji-woo mentioned that she was informed miscarriages are common and tried to accept the situation calmly. She reassured her audience, "I'm really okay now. I'm focusing on taking care of my health, so there's no need to worry."
Jung Ji-woo, who is the sister of BTS's J-Hope, is a YouTuber with 2.38 million subscribers. She is also active as a model, entrepreneur, and influencer. She previously appeared on MBC's 'I Live Alone' during J-Hope's segment and made an appearance in the Netflix series 'The Influencer.'
