Veteran actor Son Chang-min opens up about his daughter, who has become a professor.
On the upcoming episode of MBN's 'Kim Joo-ha's Day and Night,' airing on November 4th at 9:40 PM, Son Chang-min, a 55-year acting veteran, will appear as a guest.
During the show, Son will share a story from his past when he played a medical student in 'Love Blossoms on the Tree,' which led to him helping a female student with depression. He recounts how the student told her doctor, "I don't need anything else; only Son Chang-min oppa can help me," which became a hot topic at the time.
Son Chang-min, a youth star in the 1980s, recalls receiving "500 to 800 letters a day, and during vacations, 2,000 to 3,000 letters daily" from fans, admitting that he couldn't remember them all due to the sheer volume. He also mentions the endless offers he received for advertisements.
He humorously shares a story about his eldest daughter, now a professor, who used to loudly promote her father by saying, "Dad! Son Chang-min Dad!" The reason behind her enthusiastic promotion of her father piques curiosity.
Meanwhile, Son Chang-min, who married in 1991, was revealed to have been living separately from his wife for over two years in 2012. At the time, a representative for Son stated, "It is true that they have been living apart for over two years due to personality differences," but clarified, "They are not considering divorce or undergoing divorce proceedings."
