Kwon Yuri, portraying a character with a rough demeanor while being pregnant with her fifth child, delivers a nuanced performance that perfectly absorbs the character's unconventional traits. This role marks a fresh transformation for Kwon Yuri, earning her praise for showcasing a different side from her previous image.

From the moment 'Heather' makes her proposal, Kwon Yuri captures the evolving emotional journey, driving the play to its climax and filling the 90-minute runtime with a seamless portrayal of shifting emotions.

Appearing on SBS's 'Nightline' on the 25th, Kwon Yuri shared, "'Carla' was a character I was eager to portray as it was quite different from the roles I've played before. It was a continuous challenge from start to finish. To get closer to 'Carla', I bought a pregnancy suit to get accustomed to the role and stayed near the rehearsal space to practice diligently, like a student preparing for exams."

Kwon Yuri's standout performance in 'THE WASP' can be seen at the Sejong S Theater until April 26.
