On the recent episode of JTBC's 'Divorce Consideration Camp' aired on the 26th, an international couple consisting of a Vietnamese wife and a Korean husband appeared.
The couple was facing conflicts due to extreme differences in spending habits and lifestyle. The husband exhibited excessive frugality, limiting their monthly living expenses to 300,000 won to move into a new apartment his wife desired. This led to the wife's dissatisfaction, and during arguments, she would resort to profanity or easily mention divorce, shocking everyone. Seo Jang-hoon, observing the wife's candid nature, referred to her as the 'Vietnamese MZ'.
However, the atmosphere took a dramatic turn when the wife's footage revealed the husband's violent tendencies. The MCs, who had previously praised the husband, were left in shock and betrayal. It was particularly shocking to discover that he restricted the use of the heater for his wife, who is sensitive to cold, and lied about not having a heater for two years. Seo Jang-hoon strongly criticized the husband's extreme penny-pinching behavior, saying, “Telling someone who has never experienced winter to wear more clothes instead of using a heater.”
The counseling process for another couple dealing with infidelity was also revealed. Lee Ho-sun expressed deep concern, stating that the wife's extreme behavior is likely already known to their child. He advised the wife to set goals to become a good mother and emphasized the necessity of stopping her extreme actions and abstaining from alcohol.
He also stressed the need for the husband's active support, who had been neglecting the wife's drinking problem. He firmly stated that the husband should prevent her from drinking and, if necessary, seek medical treatment. Although the wife vowed to undergo treatment for the family's future, she ended up arguing with her husband about drinking again after the counseling and eventually drank, facing another crisis.
