Sung Si-kyung Explains the Origin of His 'Ear-Candy Boyfriend' Title on KBS2's 'The Seasons'

Regarding the 'Ear-Candy Boyfriend' title, Sung Si-kyung stated, "Believe it or not, it was decided after three meetings with the production team. Although it was a collective decision, ultimately, it's my fault," he began. He added, "I just wanted to attract attention in a witty and fun way. It was meant to indicate a show featuring musicians like 'Ear-Candy Girlfriend' or 'Ear-Candy Group'. It wasn't meant to imply 'I am the Ear-Candy Boyfriend'."

He emphasized that the focus is more on the content than the title. Sung Si-kyung said, "The title might be funny, but the content is by no means light." He also mentioned, "I reflected a lot on the controversy that arose. I realized once again that KBS is not easy," eliciting laughter.

'The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung's Ear-Candy Boyfriend' premieres at 10 PM today.
