On the 25th, a press conference for KBS 2TV's new mini-series 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' was held at The Saint in Sindorim, Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Park Sung-woong, Lee Soo-kyung, Lee Seo-hwan, Nam Kwon-ah, Lee Jin-woo, Choi Gyu-ri, and director Choi Yeon-soo.
'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' is a heartwarming family reboot drama about a city family led by Seong Tae-hoon (played by Park Sung-woong) who struggles to return to Seoul after being dropped into the pristine yet fierce area of Yeonliri.
Lee Jin-woo plays the role of Seong Tae-hoon's son, Lee Jin-woo. He described his character, Seong Ji-chan, as an appealing character who grows and finds courage after moving to the countryside, having previously lived under his mother's influence.
Expressing his thoughts on taking his first lead role, Lee Jin-woo said, "I felt a lot of pressure and wanted to do well since it's my first leading role. However, thanks to the support from senior actors and the director, I was able to complete the project successfully," he said with a smile.
'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' is set to premiere on the 26th at 9:50 PM.
