On the 24th, Jeok Woo appeared as a guest on KBS1's 'Morning Yard', following his recent appearance on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 4', which garnered significant attention.
During the show, Jeok Woo candidly shared his feelings about his recent transformation from a rocker to a trot singer. He admitted, "When I was invited to 'Miss Trot 4', I naturally assumed it was as a judge or panelist, but I was surprised to be asked to participate as a contestant." He added, "I thought of myself as too old and never considered auditioning for a different genre."
However, the decisive factor for his participation was his 'fans'. Jeok Woo expressed, "I joined for a fan who has loved me like a friend for 15 years," and shared a touching story about a fan who, despite undergoing dialysis every other day due to a heart condition, encouraged others to vote for him.
Jeok Woo was born in 1971 and debuted as a singer in June 2004. He has appeared on various shows, including MBC's 'I Am a Singer' in 2011, KBS2's 'Immortal Songs' in 2014, and MBC's 'King of Mask Singer' in 2017 and 2022.
