Actress Ha Ji-won has delivered a shocking and intense performance in ENA's 'Climax'.

In the third episode, aired on the 23rd, Ha Ji-won took on the role of Choo Sang-ah, a fallen actress whose mysterious past is unveiled, leaving viewers stunned. During the episode, Choo Sang-ah is threatened by Park Jae-sang (played by Lee Ga-seop), who warns, “If you don't keep your promise, I'll expose what kind of monster you are to the entire nation.” The episode further reveals a recording of Choo Sang-ah soliciting Park Jae-sang to murder the famous entertainment producer Oh Kwang-jae (played by Seo Hyun-woo).

The episode also uncovers the backstory of the animosity between Choo Sang-ah and Oh Kwang-jae. When Oh Kwang-jae pressures rookie actress Han Ji-soo (played by Han Dong-hee) into a coercive bed scene, Choo Sang-ah intervenes, warning, “Behave yourself before you're kicked out of the film industry. I'll cover the penalty fees, so send me the contract.”

Determined to protect Han Ji-soo, Choo Sang-ah embarks on a reckless path, ultimately breaking into Oh Kwang-jae's hotel room. In a frenzied scene, she stabs him in the back after a violent struggle. The episode ends with Choo Sang-ah's blood-smeared face turning in terror as someone knocks on the hotel room door.

Ha Ji-won is receiving praise for her fearless performance, seamlessly transitioning between romance, action, and thriller genres. Her portrayal of Choo Sang-ah, a character who chooses to become a 'monster' to survive, is being hailed as a career-defining role.

The fourth episode of 'Climax' airs on the 24th at 10 PM.
