Shinhwa's Kim Dong-wan to Proceed with Busking Event Amidst Manager Controversy

Shinhwa member and actor Kim Dong-wan is set to go ahead with his scheduled busking event despite recent allegations from a former manager.

On the 24th, Kim Dong-wan will hold a busking event to celebrate Shinhwa's 28th debut anniversary. The performance will take place from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Iljasan Urban Nature Park in Gangdong-gu.

Kim Dong-wan announced on his social media on the 22nd, "More people are expected to attend than I thought, so I've arranged for a sound director and security team," adding, "We are preparing to ensure a safe and comfortable performance for families attending."

Recently, Kim Dong-wan was embroiled in controversy for supporting MC Dingdong, who was accused of assaulting a female BJ during a live internet broadcast. Kim Dong-wan stirred further controversy by posting, "Who will support Dingdong for no reason?"

Amidst this, a person claiming to be Kim Dong-wan's former manager, referred to as A, made additional allegations. A stated, "Whether it was years ago or now, nothing has changed. He drinks and goes live, fighting with fans. This time, he seems to want to be a hero. I advised him when I was his manager, but it wasn't accepted."

In response, Kim Dong-wan countered, "The content currently being spread is false and misleading," and warned, "If the dissemination of false information continues, I will take all legal actions, both civil and criminal." A replied, "The mention of false information and legal action makes me laugh. There are many stories, but I'm keeping quiet to avoid further issues. Brother (Kim Dong-wan), just stay quiet. You haven't done anything right."
