ENA's 'Recruit 4: Sabotage' Returns with Laughter and Relatable Stories

'Recruit 4: Sabotage' is set to return with its unique blend of humor and relatability, a year after its last season.

ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Recruit' has confirmed the production of its fourth season and has officially begun filming.

Based on the animation of the same name, 'Recruit' is a hyper-realistic military comedy that tells the story of a 'military silver spoon' recruit entering a place filled with all sorts of characters, from good to bad to strange. The series has been a hit across all demographics, thanks to its perfect mix of comedy and relatable real-life episodes.

Corporal Park Min-seok's Promotion

In 'Recruit 4: Sabotage,' the story follows Park Min-seok (played by Kim Min-ho), who, upon his promotion to corporal, finds himself in endless dilemmas. Just when he thought his military life would be smooth sailing, a mysterious recruit and a new battalion commander shake things up, marking the start of a turbulent second act.

The new season promises even more excitement with the return of Choi Il-gu (played by Nam Tae-woo) as a non-commissioned officer and the introduction of ace junior Moon Bit-nari (played by Kim Yo-han). Director Min Jin-gi and comedy writer Yoon Ki-young reunite, with writer Kim Dan, who worked on the first season, joining the team.

New Additions: Lee Hyun-kyun and Lee Won-jung

The returning cast, including Kim Min-ho, Kim Dong-jun, Oh Dae-hwan, Nam Tae-woo, Lee Sang-jin, Jo Jin-se, Lee Chung-gu, Jeon Seung-hoon, Kim Yo-han, and Lee Soo-ji, are expected to deliver even more engaging performances. Attention is also on the new faces, Lee Hyun-kyun and Lee Won-jung, who are set to elevate the fun.

Kim Min-ho returns as 'Park Min-seok,' now a corporal and part of the senior line. His life as a corporal, which he thought would be a breeze, becomes unexpectedly intense with the arrival of new faces. His growth from a clueless recruit to a responsible corporal is highly anticipated.

Kim Dong-jun reprises his role as 'Jeon Se-gye,' a beloved star turned perfect soldier, adored by his seniors. Oh Dae-hwan as 'Jo Baek-ho,' the unit's official human vitamin, and Nam Tae-woo as the returning non-commissioned officer 'Choi Il-gu' are also expected to deliver standout performances. The original members, including Lee Sang-jin as the clumsy yet warm platoon leader 'Oh Seok-jin,' Jo Jin-se as 'No Hee-jung,' Lee Chung-gu as 'Kim Sang-hoon,' Jeon Seung-hoon as 'Im Da-hye,' Kim Yo-han as the second company's traditional troublemaker 'Moon Bit-nari,' and Lee Soo-ji as Park Min-seok's iron-willed sister 'Park Min-joo,' are also set to shine.

Roles of the New Faces in the Shinhwa Unit

The addition of new faces to the Shinhwa unit is intriguing. Lee Hyun-kyun plays 'Byeon Hyuk-jin,' the new battalion commander committed to change and innovation. Lee Won-jung takes on the role of 'Kim Hyun-wook,' Park Min-seok's mysterious training camp buddy. Their impact on the Shinhwa unit is eagerly anticipated.

'Recruit 4: Sabotage' is scheduled to air in the second half of 2026.
