On the October 18th episode of MBC's 'Questions by Son Seok-hee 4', director Jang Hang-jun and actor Yoo Hae-jin appeared as guests, sharing various stories from their experiences.
Why Yoo Hae-jin Shouted "Please!" at Director Jang Hang-jun
Jang Hang-jun recounted, "During the post-production phase, I had a drink with Yoo Hae-jin. He asked if the editing was finished, and I said it was going well. Then he told me, 'Don't just say that, work hard.' It's unusual for an actor to tell a director to work hard," he began. He continued, "When I said I was working hard, he exclaimed, 'No, please!' I got really annoyed and said, 'Do you think I'm a child? I'm working hard!' It seemed like he didn't trust me."
Yoo Hae-jin laughed, saying, "I've never seen him like that before." Jang Hang-jun added, "When I got home, I told writer Kim Eun-hee that Hae-jin made a fuss. She said, 'You should be grateful. Where else would you find an actor like Hae-jin? He's great at acting and even tells you to work hard on post-production. Is that a crime?' I agreed with her."
The Warm Relationship Between the Two
Jang Hang-jun also mentioned, "Maybe because we're friends, we were great partners. We could talk comfortably and accept things easily." Yoo Hae-jin added, "On set, when shooting serious scenes, he's incredibly detailed. He points out things you wouldn't even think of," adding to the warmth of their relationship.
