The unforgettable summer memories of 'Shining' stars Park Jin-young and Kim Min-ju are touching hearts.
The production team of JTBC's Friday series 'Shining' has released unseen cuts from episodes 3 and 4, showcasing the intense summer romance and sudden cold breakup of Yeon Tae-seo (played by Park Jin-young) and Mo Eun-ah (played by Kim Min-ju).
As a long-distance couple, college students Yeon Tae-seo and Mo Eun-ah loved passionately but eventually faced the harsh reality of separation. Ten years later, when they meet again, the awkward atmosphere is filled with a poignant longing as they gaze at each other.
With interest growing in the story of Yeon Tae-seo and Mo Eun-ah at thirty, the newly released photos capture a page from their shared summer. The peak of their youthful love, the unexpected breakup, and the painful yet brilliant moments that followed over the past decade draw attention.
Initially, the bright expressions of model student Yeon Tae-seo, a first-year university student, and Mo Eun-ah, an intern hotelier, hint at their blossoming romance. Particularly, their hometown dates, where they can't take their eyes off each other, complete the sweet atmosphere.
The sudden farewell of Yeon Tae-seo and Mo Eun-ah, like a midsummer rainstorm, also catches the eye. Mo Eun-ah's complex expression and Yeon Tae-seo's tear-streaked face after the breakup evoke the universal memory of a painful goodbye.
Meanwhile, the matured appearances of Yeon Tae-seo and Mo Eun-ah as adults reveal a significant change. Yeon Tae-seo, now a subway train driver, and Mo Eun-ah, a manager at an old house stay, exude a maturity and adulthood not felt at nineteen or twenty. With ten years having passed, many changes have likely occurred for both. The anticipation builds to see if Yeon Tae-seo and Mo Eun-ah, now thirty, can shine brightly once more.
'Shining' will air two consecutive episodes on the 20th at 8:50 PM.
