He also revealed that he had a tough time due to an injury at the end of last year. Lee Dong-hwi said, "I was injured on December 31st and was in the emergency room. I was in a situation where I was sending New Year's greetings on January 1st, but I couldn't inform many people because I was injured just a week before a performance." He reflected, "At that time, I often wondered, 'Starting the new year like this, how will my life unfold?'"

He continued, "There were moments of despair, thinking this year wouldn't be easy, especially with the uncertainty of the film's release." He added, "After recovering and resting at home, I heard the news that the release date was set, and I cried at home. Despite the hardships, there were also moments of joy."

Regarding his health, Lee Dong-hwi shared, "I injured my back, the same area I hurt 20 years ago. As I'm getting older, recovery isn't easy," and "I couldn't perform for about a month, which was a very difficult time."

He further explained, "Initially, I thought it was just muscle pain, not realizing it was shingles. But the pain became so severe that I had to go to the hospital," adding, "It started from my left leg and gradually moved up. It was a challenging period."

The film 'Method Acting' is set to be released on the 18th.
