Actor Yoon Jong-hoon recently appeared on the October 15th episode of TV Chosun's 'Baekban Journey with Heo Young-man' where he revealed comedian Kim Sook as his ideal type.
During the episode, Yoon joined Heo Young-man in exploring traditional eateries in Nonsan, Chungnam. Yoon expressed his excitement, stating, "I'm not the type to seek out famous restaurants, but I'm a fan of old establishments."
Yoon, who once worked as a 'shoulder actor' in performances and plays, shared, "There was a role requiring an 'over the shoulder' actor in a drama. Many declined due to pride, but I was happy to earn money," showcasing his positive outlook.
Living in a small room with a monthly rent of 130,000 won, Yoon revealed that his pay as a 'shoulder actor' was around 200,000 to 300,000 won per episode, though filming could take up to 10 days.
When asked about his ideal type during the meal, Yoon named comedian Kim Sook, expressing, "I feel like I keep mentioning her and causing trouble." He added, "Kim Sook once said, 'Men should stay home and I'll earn the money.' That statement was so progressive and appealing to me."
With a 20-year acting career, Yoon noted his high audition success rate, stating, "I succeeded in about 80% of auditions, especially when I performed unexpected angry scenes."
While walking down a dark path, Yoon shared a chilling ghost encounter. When Heo mentioned the possibility of ghosts, Yoon revealed, "I've actually seen a ghost."
He recounted, "When I was about 20, I woke up to see a woman standing in front of me. She tried to hug me, and when I resisted, she said, 'Stay still, you,' and hugged me. I later realized she was a woman I had seen once when I was six."
