Comedian Kim Ji-min Opens Up About Marriage and In-Law Challenges on 'Lee Ho-sun's Cider'

Comedian Kim Ji-min, who married fellow comedian Kim Jun-ho last July, recently shared her thoughts on divorce.

SBS Plus's 'Lee Ho-sun's Cider' is a talk counseling program featuring counseling expert Professor Lee Ho-sun and broadcaster Kim Ji-min as co-hosts. Since its first broadcast on November 29 last year, the show has been praised for its straightforward and empathetic solutions, avoiding clichéd comfort and formal advice.

'Lee Ho-sun's Cider' continues to deliver bold stories and candid solutions. The show is particularly anticipated as participants will appear in the studio to share their stories firsthand.

On this episode, Kim Ji-min reacts strongly to stories themed around the eternal human dilemma of 'in-law issues that shorten lifespan.' In response to a story about in-laws treating their son as a financial source, she candidly admits, "If it were me, I would fight with my husband every day."

She further states, "Since I can't directly fight with the in-laws, I would end up resenting my husband. Eventually, I might even consider divorce," and adds, "I would rather say, 'If you can cut ties with your in-laws, live with me; otherwise, let's separate.'"

Professor Lee Ho-sun also brings laughter with her cool remarks. When a participant mentions her as the best mother-in-law, she responds, "If my daughter-in-law feels uncomfortable, I won't interfere," and humorously adds, "If she still dislikes it, I'll move abroad," surprising Kim Ji-min. She then jokingly pleads, "So, son, please get married," leading to laughter.

The production team stated, "The harsh stories revealed so far are just appetizers," and promised, "Stronger and more realistic stories, along with bolder solutions from Professor Lee Ho-sun and Kim Ji-min, will truly relieve viewers' frustrations."

Meanwhile, SBS Plus's 'Lee Ho-sun's Cider' will air on the 14th at 10 a.m.
