This special episode focused on the revitalization of Myeongdong, one of Seoul's most vibrant downtown areas. The show featured model duo Joo Woo-jae and Ahn Jae-hyun, along with Im Won-hee, a notable alumnus from the legendary 90s class of Seoul Institute of the Arts, who once studied in Myeongdong. Their dynamic chemistry brought a lively atmosphere to the episode.
Before exploring the properties, the trio took a stroll through Myeongdong's streets. At a large pharmacy, a popular shopping spot for tourists, Im Won-hee humorously filled his basket with popular items like the 'red medicine,' lip balm, and propolis candy. They also discussed the current rental prices of Myeongdong's commercial spaces and reminisced about the area's past as a fashion hotspot.
The team then moved to Hoehyeon-dong to visit the so-called 'Old Three Giants' apartments. First, they explored the Citizen Apartments, built in 1970, known for being the first public housing to feature a sky bridge. They examined the 70s-era central heating and protruding windows, learning that the original sale price was 300,000 won.
Next, they visited another apartment built in 1975, known for its active real estate market. They toured a remodeled unit for a single occupant, featuring stunning city views and a view of the Namsan cable car.
The final stop was a newly constructed apartment in Hoehyeon-dong, completed in 2011. With a supply area of approximately 243㎡, its curved interior design and view of the N Tower were captivating. The apartment's proximity to a famous department store and its 5-minute walking distance to Myeongdong and Hoehyeon stations highlighted its prime location.
