After 20 years, the beloved K-pop group SeeYa (Nam Gyu-ri, Kim Yeon-ji, Lee Bo-ram) has officially announced their reunion, marking their first move with a heartfelt gesture towards their fans.
Celebrating their 20th anniversary, the three members of SeeYa visited a large billboard at Seoul's Gangnam Express Bus Terminal Station. This advertisement was a surprise gift from fans who, unaware of the reunion, came together to celebrate the group's milestone anniversary. The gesture deeply moved the members.
In a touching response, the members visited the site to leave a 'surprise photo' as a token of gratitude and appreciation for their fans. Standing in front of their advertisement as a complete group for the first time in 15 years, the members were visibly moved by the unwavering support from fans who had waited patiently since SeeYa's disbandment.
A representative from SeeYa stated, "On the day of the 20th anniversary, the members were moved to tears in front of the advertisement gifted by fans. Recognizing the sincerity of fans who waited 15 years, SeeYa is determined to repay them with genuine and high-quality music."
In March, SeeYa will release a pre-release track, with lyrics penned by the members themselves, and hold a fan meeting at 'Idles' in Jongno-gu, Seoul. This event, planned with the members' deep affection for their fans, will be a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the past 20 years and discuss future activities as SeeYa. In May, they will continue their activities with a full album produced by Park Geun-tae and Kim Do-hoon, who were instrumental during SeeYa's peak.
The eagerly anticipated pre-release track featuring the complete SeeYa lineup will be available on various music platforms in March.
