Hyun Joo-yeop faces criticism from Jeon Hyun-moo for his extreme measures to teach his 'bed potato' son, Hyun Jun-hee, the value of money.
On the upcoming episode of TV CHOSUN's variety show 'Dad and Me Season 3,' airing on the 11th, Hyun Joo-yeop and his son Jun-hee set off for the West Sea early in the morning. Excited about the rare trip with his father, Jun-hee expressed, “I’m thrilled and excited for the fishing.” Even while listening to his dad's 'old song' playlist, Jun-hee hummed along, showcasing his bright demeanor. Upon reaching the seaside, Hyun Joo-yeop took his son to a restaurant to ensure he was well-fed, and the two enjoyed a hearty meal, even asking for extra rice.
After the meal, Hyun Joo-yeop introduced his son to Hong Myung-wan, a former wrestling athlete turned anchovy fishing boat captain, saying, “I have an acquaintance here.” Captain Hong warmly welcomed Jun-hee, hinting at the day's agenda with, “We need to give it our all today. Where’s your work outfit?” It turned out that Hyun Joo-yeop had planned not a vacation, but Jun-hee’s first part-time job.
Hyun Joo-yeop explained, “Jun-hee seems to spend all day in bed and doesn’t understand the value of money, so I wanted him to learn the value of labor and money,” foreshadowing a challenging day ahead. Previously, Jun-hee had spent his birthday money of 100,000 won all at once on a game, which Hyun Joo-yeop couldn’t comprehend, leading to a clash over allowance issues.

Jeon Hyun-moo criticized Hyun Joo-yeop, saying, “You should never lie,” while Soobin exclaimed, “This is the worst.” Jeon Hyun-moo worried, “Isn’t this going to distance you from your dad? What if he takes off his mic and leaves again?” recalling a previous runaway incident. Han Hye-jin also expressed concern, fearing the repercussions of Hyun Joo-yeop’s well-intentioned lie.
Both Jun-hee and Hyun Joo-yeop ended up working at the part-time job site. The endless labor left them without smiles, only groans echoing between them. Hyun Joo-yeop admitted, “I thought only Jun-hee would be working, but I was surprised when I was asked to join in,” as he joined his son in the grueling experience.
