The globally beloved Netflix animated film 'KPop Demon Hunters' (referred to as 'KDH') received the Vanguard Award at the 'Unforgettable Gala Awards' held in Beverly Hills, California, on the 7th (local time). The event was attended by the film's lead, Arden Cho, along with actress Ji-young Yoo, who plays Zoey, among others, to celebrate the win together.

The 'Unforgettable Gala Awards', co-hosted by Character Media and GoldenTV, is a prestigious ceremony with over 20 years of history, aiming to honor the outstanding achievements of Asian & Pacific Islander (API) artists and to expand opportunities and visibility for future generations.

Additionally, director Park Chan-wook of 'No Other Choice' won the 'Director Award', and actor Daniel Dae Kim received the 'Actor in Drama' award.

Before the ceremony, Arden Cho delivered a speech at the 'Asian Women Are Strong 2026: Beyond the Spotlight' panel in San Francisco and arrived at the event despite a flight delay to share the joy of the award. She expressed, "This film truly celebrates culture and community," adding, "It's a meaningful project completed by artists worldwide infusing their voices and life experiences."
