Actor Kim Min Joins the Million-Viewer Club with 'The Man Who Lives with the King'
Actor Kim Min has joined the ranks of million-viewer actors with the film 'The Man Who Lives with the King'.

The movie 'The Man Who Lives with the King', featuring Kim Min, surpassed 10 million viewers on the 6th. In the film, Kim Min plays the role of Eom Tae-san, the son of village chief Eom Heung-do (played by Yoo Hae-jin), leaving a strong impression on the audience.

Set in 1457 Cheongnyeongpo, 'The Man Who Lives with the King' tells the story of a village chief who volunteers for exile to revive his village and a young dethroned king in exile. Kim Min's character, Eom Tae-san, is portrayed as an intelligent figure who mastered classical texts at a young age. Despite poverty forcing him to give up on civil service exams, he dedicates himself to archery, showing maturity beyond his years. He also boldly confronts the dethroned king Lee Hong-wi (played by Park Ji-hoon) when he ignores the villagers' sincerity.

In his first historical drama, Kim Min worked diligently to enhance his character's immersion by repeatedly reading the script to find the right tone for his lines. He also paid great attention to visual details, such as lowering his naturally fair skin tone and adding scar makeup to embody the character of that era.
