Unexpected Betrayal Shakes Power Struggle in 'Undercover Miss Hong'
The intense battle to overthrow corrupt power reaches its peak as Lee Deok-hwa, who seemed to have secured his position, faces an unexpected betrayal from his own daughter.

In the 15th episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Undercover Miss Hong' (directed by Park Sun-ho, Na Ji-hyun/written by Moon Hyun-kyung), aired on the night of the 7th at 9:20 PM, the fierce struggle for control over Hanmin Securities between Hong Geum-bo (played by Park Shin-hye) and Chairman Kang Pil-beom (played by Lee Deok-hwa) was depicted.

In this episode, Hong Geum-bo approached Kang Pil-beom's ex-wife, Choi In-ja (played by Byun Jung-soo), revealing that Song Ju-ran (played by Park Mi-hyun) was behind the past kidnapping of their daughter, Kang No-ra (played by Choi Ji-soo), and sought her cooperation. Choi In-ja informed Kang Pil-beom of Song Ju-ran's misdeeds and urged him to take action, but Kang Pil-beom, prioritizing the protection of slush funds and company management, coldly ignored even his child's trauma. Disappointed, Choi In-ja transferred her 1% stake to Hong Geum-bo, laying the groundwork for revenge.

Kang Pil-beom and Song Ju-ran's counterattack was formidable. Song Ju-ran reported Go Bok-hee (played by Ha Yoon-kyung), a key member of the Yeouido Pirates, to the police for past embezzlement and theft charges, leading to her urgent arrest. The sudden arrest of her colleague terrified Kang No-ra, making her seem to turn against Hong Geum-bo. Seizing this opportunity, Kang Pil-beom persuaded his daughter to inherit the 9% stake of his deceased son, Kang Myung-hwi (played by Choi Won-young), and planned to present her as the new face of Hanmin Securities.

At the subsequent emergency shareholders' meeting, Hong Geum-bo, with the support of minor shareholders including So Kyung-dong (played by Seo Hyun-chul), proposed the dismissal of Kang Pil-beom, but the motion was defeated with a 41.4% vote, seemingly granting Kang Pil-beom a victory.

However, a dramatic twist awaited Kang Pil-beom, who was smiling in triumph. At the inauguration and New Year's press conference for the president of Hanmin Securities, Kang No-ra appeared in a modest employee uniform instead of the glamorous outfit prepared by Song Ju-ran, capturing the attention of the press. Kang No-ra confessed that she learned the true meaning of family while living with her colleagues in the dormitory and officially declared, "I will exercise my entire stake in favor of Hong Geum-bo's Yeouido Pirates." Having been hurt by her father's cold refusal to pay ransom during her childhood kidnapping crisis, Kang No-ra dealt a critical blow to Kang Pil-beom at the most decisive moment, shaking the company's management to its core.

With Kang No-ra's declaration, the ownership of Hanmin Securities is once again shrouded in uncertainty. The preview hints at a rift between Song Ju-ran and Bong Dal-soo (played by Kim Roe-ha) as they sense the impending crisis, heightening the tension. Particularly, the scene of Hong Geum-bo collapsing in tears has captured viewers' attention, as they eagerly anticipate who will emerge as the ultimate victor in the final episode.
