Actor Lee Dong-hwi has issued an apology for his alien costume.
On the final episode of KBS2's music talk show 'The Seasons - 10CM's Touching Touching,' which aired on the 6th, guests including WOODZ, Lee Dong-hwi, MeloMance's Kim Min-seok, and Daybreak's Lee Won-seok, Lee Ji-hyung, and Soran's Go Young-bae appeared to wrap up the six-month journey with special moments.
The first guest, WOODZ, presented a bouquet to MC 10CM, making the final broadcast feel real. Returning with his first full album featuring 17 tracks, WOODZ confessed his thirst for music, saying, "I had a rebellious spirit thinking 'I can do this too.'" He added humorously, "Originally, there were 20 songs, but I took out three," revealing a compromise with his rebellion. WOODZ, who fills two hours with karaoke content during live broadcasts, cited military events as the secret to his diverse song selection. He shared a unique story, saying, "As a singer in the military band, I had to prepare event songs for each age group. At a kindergarten graduation within the base, I sang 10CM's 'Phonecert.'"
Despite his excellent vocal abilities, WOODZ surprised everyone by revealing he studied practical dance in high school. He said, "Dance is all about momentum," and showcased a parade of impromptu dances. MC 10CM acknowledged, "You do match the dance department," but added, "Please return as a rock star," causing laughter. WOODZ then delivered a powerful rock spirit with the title track 'NA NA NA' from his new album, heating up the venue.
Actor Lee Dong-hwi, known for his roles in blockbuster films, appeared in an alien costume, a character from his upcoming movie 'Method Acting,' causing a stir among the audience. Lee explained, "I feel really embarrassed. I'm sorry, but I feel ashamed. I came out like this because I play an alien role in the movie."
Despite his shocking appearance, Lee Dong-hwi impressed with his outstanding singing skills, performing 'Stars' from the musical 'Les Misérables,' earning a standing ovation and encore requests from the audience. He shared, "In school, I had many classes where I sang musical numbers and took vocal lessons. I wanted to prove to my parents that the lesson fees weren't wasted by singing this song."
Throughout the candid talk, Lee's alien costume continued to make its presence felt. He confessed, "I didn't know it was the last episode when I requested to appear. When the date was set, I realized it was the final episode, which was quite awkward."
He further apologized, saying, "I apologize once again. I'm sorry. The reason I was so shocked is that during rehearsal, I didn't wear the costume. Now, my face is on the monitor. I was so shocked when I saw it while singing earlier that I started trembling."
MC 10CM joked, "I plan not to cry until the end of today's recording," and asked Lee to perform a tearful method acting instead. Lee replied, "Wouldn't it be more so because of me?" and immediately captured the emotion, providing laughter until the end.
MeloMance's Kim Min-seok joined 'The Seasons' despite his poor throat condition to be part of 10CM's final broadcast. 10CM, hiding his gratitude, asked, "Why do you keep following me these days?" Kim replied, "You're cool on the outside but kind on the inside, so juniors follow you well," creating a warm atmosphere.
Kim Min-seok, who appeared on '10CM's Touching Touching' in its early days last September, praised 10CM, now the longest-serving MC, saying, "Your eyes are different from back then. I could feel the nervousness then, but now you're full of confidence." He added, "I enjoyed seeing unexpected sides of you during your six months as MC," proving himself a loyal viewer of 'The Seasons.' Kim concluded with a performance of 10CM's 'It's Not That' to show respect to the senior artist.
Close friends of 10CM, Daybreak's Lee Won-seok, Lee Ji-hyung, and Soran's Go Young-bae, also joined as the final guests. Lee Won-seok noted, "On the last episode, real close friends of the MC appear," mentioning pairs like 'Lee Young-ji - Na Young-seok PD' and 'Park Bo-gum - IU.' 10CM humorously asked, "Are you saying you're on the same level as them?" Go Young-bae self-deprecatingly replied, "Shouldn't you be thinking about working harder as an MC?" causing laughter.
A tribute video was shown for 10CM, who set a record as the longest-serving MC in 'The Seasons' history. Lee Won-seok acknowledged, "Not just anyone can be an MC," and added, "It's significant that an indie musician hosted a terrestrial music program. It gave great courage to the next generation." Lee Ji-hyung also mentioned the 'Indie 30th Anniversary Life Music' segment, saying, "The fact that 10CM introduced and performed on stage together is meaningful." Go Young-bae led a round of applause for 10CM, who gave his all, and they all performed 'Hot Goodbye' for a final farewell.
Afterward, 10CM switched to his main role and gifted a special concert to the audience on-site and viewers at home. Known for his hit songs, 10CM performed 'Phonecert,' 'Spring Is Good,' 'Gradient,' 'Secret Love,' and 'To Reach You' in succession.
Having met viewers for 25 episodes as the MC of 'The Seasons,' 10CM shared, "I'm not sad today because I'm proud to finish as the longest-serving MC, and I'm happy," and asked for continued support and anticipation for the future of 'The Seasons.'
