The latest episode of ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Honor: Her Courtroom' has left viewers on the edge of their seats with its intense plot twists. Episode 10 saw the arrest of Yoon Ra-young (played by Lee Na-young) for the murder of prosecutor Park Je-yeol (Seo Hyun-woo). Meanwhile, Lee Chung-ah's character requested a divorce from her husband, Choi Young-joon, saying, "Let's end this. I'll agree to all your terms." Jeong Eun-chae's character made a shocking decision to ally with the mastermind Yeon Woo-jin to support her friend Lee Na-young, diving into a personal hell. The episode achieved its highest ratings yet, with a nationwide viewership of 4.3% and 3.8% in the metropolitan area.
The episode revealed the true identity of 'Green Hood' Han Min-seo (Jeon So-young), who pushed Yoon Ra-young into a deeper abyss. According to Do Joon (Woo Hyun-joon), an informant from the law firm L&J (Listen & Join), Yoon Ra-young's adopted daughter was abused by her adoptive parents, and the child's body, presumed dead, was never recovered. Han Min-seo's past confession about stealing milk from a neighbor after starving for three days and her message, "Thank you for killing my dad," left Yoon Ra-young heartbroken.
Han Min-seo attacked Yoon Ra-young with an awl and hid the knuckles used by Park Je-yeol to assault her, all for a DNA test. At Park Je-yeol's grave, Han Min-seo coldly remarked, "I wanted to see the look on your face when you realized what you did to your child, but it's a pity," before confronting Yoon Ra-young. She revealed her body covered in scars from horrific violence and angrily questioned, "What justice did you uphold and who did you protect while I suffered all this?" Yoon Ra-young broke down, realizing she couldn't save her daughter from hell.
Behind all these tragedies was Baek Tae-joo (Yeon Woo-jin), the CEO of IT company 'The Prime,' who meticulously orchestrated the events. A genius hacker, Baek Tae-joo had exposed a list of sexual exploitation involving rookie actress Seo Ji-yoon 20 years ago, but the high-ranking officials who exploited her went unpunished. Instead, the vile connections became more entrenched, demanding a digital platform for perfect concealment, which Baek Tae-joo saw as an opportunity.
Baek Tae-joo approached Han Min-seo, posing as a 'Connect In' user, and revealed the existence of her biological parents. He urged her to judge those who treated her as a mere commodity and those who pushed her into hell. Ultimately, Han Min-seo exposed the 'Connect In' sexual exploitation videos, revealing the faces of the victims to the world, and witnessed her biological father Park Je-yeol being dealt with by her mother Yoon Ra-young.
Kang Shin-jae discovered a terrarium with insect traps at the gosiwon where Han Min-seo stayed, realizing Baek Tae-joo was behind her actions. He had initially tipped off reporter Lee Jun-hyuk about the 'Connect In' VIP list, helping L&J at critical moments, and possessed video evidence that couldn't be obtained through normal channels. Baek Tae-joo boldly admitted to Kang Shin-jae that he created the app to lure high-ranking officials with prostitution as bait, aiming to eradicate the pests in one blow. "It's not about avoiding means for the purpose, but choosing them," he said, using the victims' pain as tools to excise the rotten parts.
Despite his efforts to maintain his integrity, Kang Shin-jae crumbled upon learning that his mother, Seong Tae-im (Kim Mi-sook), was the one who stole the list of sexual favors that disappeared from the prosecution 20 years ago. Haeil, the organization, had been covering up heinous incidents and teaching the public that the world doesn't change despite their anger. Kang Shin-jae realized he had been fighting only winnable battles under their wings, mistakenly believing he was changing the world, and faced the reality that Seong Tae-im would imprison Yoon Ra-young to deny 'Connect In' to the end.
Yoon Ra-young's trial took a dire turn under the pressure of power. The judge she had harshly criticized on air was assigned to her case, and Kwon Joong-hyun (Lee Hae-young) attempted to bribe witnesses to silence their testimonies. The prosecution linked Yoon Ra-young's past sexual assault claims to her motive for murder, continuing their offensive. Yoon Ra-young desperately pleaded not to tarnish the time she had fiercely protected for 20 years with mere revenge, but the tide was hard to turn.
At that moment, Kang Shin-jae made a bold move, submitting the on-site video footage provided by Baek Tae-joo as evidence. The video vividly captured Park Je-yeol threatening and assaulting the three lawyers, and Yoon Ra-young attempting CPR. Kang Shin-jae took Baek Tae-joo's hand, who said, "If you want to save Attorney Yoon, come to hell willingly." This meant letting go of the hands of Yoon Ra-young and Hwang Hyun-jin (Lee Chung-ah), with whom he wanted to change the world. The repercussions of Kang Shin-jae's risky choice in the remaining two episodes are highly anticipated.
