Korean Star Im Ha-ryong Shares the Challenges of Managing 13,000 Contacts

On the latest episode of MBN's 'Day and Night,' Korean entertainer Im Ha-ryong opened up about the challenges of managing his extensive network of contacts.

During the broadcast on the 28th, host Kim Joo-ha asked Im Ha-ryong if it was true that he had 12,000 phone numbers saved. Im Ha-ryong confirmed, explaining, "I have a habit of saving every business card I receive."

He further surprised everyone by revealing that he currently has 13,000 contacts and 12,000 friends on KakaoTalk.

However, being a 'networking king' comes with its own set of challenges. Im Ha-ryong recalled, "I used to spend hours replying on Facebook, worrying that if I responded to one person, another might feel left out. It became overwhelming."

He added, "I even developed glaucoma from overexertion, but I'm managing it better now."

Im Ha-ryong also shared, "I still receive a lot of messages. Every day, someone passes away or gets married. Trying to keep up with all the events is exhausting, so I've started to prioritize, even though it feels a bit unfair," he said, eliciting laughter.
