The press conference for the Netflix drama 'Monthly Boyfriend' was held on the 26th at the JW Marriott Hotel in Dongdaemun, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Seo In-guk, Ji-soo, and director Kim Jung-sik.
'Monthly Boyfriend' tells the story of Mi-rae (played by Ji-soo), a webtoon PD exhausted by real life, who subscribes to a virtual boyfriend and experiences dating through a simulation.
In the drama, Mi-rae enjoys various dates with her virtual partners. Ji-soo commented, "I did a lot of cliché, classic dates. It felt exciting."
Seo In-guk also expressed, "I have developed a romantic fantasy. I want to try dates with various themes. I wish to experience dates at places I can no longer go back to, like a campus or a grand palace."
MC Park Kyung-lim responded, "It's not too late for a campus date," to which Seo In-guk humorously replied, "I think it's time to put down the school uniform."
The series will be available on Netflix starting November 6th.
