VERIVERY's Kangmin Takes Lead Role in New Drama 'Jump Boy LIVE'
VERIVERY member Kangmin is set to expand his acting career.

Premiering on the 27th, the Kitz Premium short-form drama 'Jump Boy LIVE' follows the story of an outsider at a science high school who dreams of becoming an influencer. He unexpectedly gains the ability to teleport, transforming into a 'live hero' in this coming-of-age tale. Directed by Lee Jung-hoon, who previously took 'The Hunter with a Scalpel' to the Cannes International Series Festival, Kangmin stars in the lead role.

Kangmin has already made a name for himself with his stable live performances and energetic stage presence, notably on Mnet's 'Boys Planet 2'. As a growing icon, Kangmin is ready to showcase a new side of himself in 'Jump Boy LIVE'.

In the drama, Kangmin plays Eon, a character who drives the narrative and stands at the center of conflict, acting as a key figure. Eon experiences a rapid transformation from a bottom-ranked outsider to a mega influencer, opening the 'second act' of Kangmin's growth story.

Previously, Kangmin portrayed the character Joo Sun-jae in the web drama 'Just a Finger Flick Away', where he played a dark character with exceptional guitar skills and a genius for composition, yet burdened by a troubled past. His portrayal of youthful anxiety and excitement was well-received. The anticipation builds for the debut of 'Kangmin's Hero Eon' in this new project.
