Korean Actress Lee Min-jung Gives a Rare Glimpse into Her Son's Room

Korean actress Lee Min-jung has offered a rare look inside the room of her 11-year-old son, who attends an international school. The room, filled with signs of English study and hobbies, has captured the attention of many.

On October 24, Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' released a video titled 'First Look at Joon-hoo's Room with His Permission (+Remodeling Day).' In the video, Lee Min-jung shared, "We moved into this house when Joon-hoo was 27 months old, and we've lived here for eight years," as she introduced her son's room for the first time.

One side of the room was neatly organized with children's storybooks. She explained, "Since I have a son and a daughter, I can't pass down clothes or anything like that. The books are the only things we hold onto," referring to the books saved for her 16-month-old daughter.

Particularly eye-catching was Joon-hoo's desk, filled with English vocabulary notes, as he attends an international school in Daechi-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. When asked by the production team if he always writes words like that to memorize them, Lee Min-jung laughed, "The teacher writes them down, and he says he remembers them by seeing them often. But I wonder if it's really for studying or just for show."

The room was also filled with Joon-hoo's favorite items, including a signed book by Chef Kwon Sung-joon of 'Napoli Mafia.' Lee Min-jung shared, "Joon-hoo was so thrilled. Even when Jang Won-young was at the restaurant, he was more attached to Napoli Mafia." She also pointed to Pokémon cards, adding humorously, "I don't know why he collects these. Joon-hoo calls it an investment."

Lee Min-jung revealed her heartfelt reason for deciding to remodel the room. She confessed, "After having my second child, Seo-yi, I felt guilty for not giving Joon-hoo enough attention over the past four years." She added, "When his dad is abroad, he sneaks into our bed," expressing her feelings of remorse.

After the room makeover, Lee Min-jung gave her son a handwritten letter. The letter expressed gratitude, saying, "Three years ago, when I had your sister, you must have felt overwhelmed and neglected, but thank you for being bright and caring for your sibling."

Lee Min-jung is married to actor Lee Byung-hun, and they have a son and a daughter together.
