Actress Kim Young-ok recently opened up about experiencing two burglaries at her home, resulting in significant financial losses.

In a recent video titled '★Grandma's Gold First Reveal★ What's the Gold Price? Story of Stolen Gold' on her YouTube channel, Kim Young-ok shared her experiences.

During the video, Kim showcased various accessories and silver items she had appraised. She remarked, "It's not much, just what I wear," as she revealed her collection.

The first items appraised were ten sets of silver spoons, valued at approximately 277,000 KRW, and silver cutlery, priced around 72,000 KRW. A gold necklace and bracelet, purchased 30 years ago for 1 million KRW, are now valued at 6.91 million KRW, surprising many.

Kim also displayed a watch she bought for 12 million KRW, lamenting, "20 years ago, they undervalued it so much that I couldn't sell it for even a million KRW." However, its current value is 9.79 million KRW, to which Kim reacted joyfully, "Great, I should wear it now." The total value of the gold items revealed that day amounted to a staggering 24 to 25 million KRW.

Despite these appraisals, Kim revealed she had been a victim of theft multiple times. Recalling one incident, she said, "I came home after Christmas Eve celebrations, and my son called to say there had been a break-in." She added, "It seems they opened the door through the milk chute," shocking viewers.

Kim recounted, "When a 2-carat diamond was worth over 20 million KRW, I saved up to buy one, but unfortunately, I left it out that day, and it was stolen."

She continued, "They searched the entire house. Only this ring was left, which saved me. It felt like losing a whole house."

Kim also mentioned another burglary when she lived in a detached house, saying, "I was robbed twice. During the filming of the drama 'Seaside Village,' I was out of town. It was pouring rain, and someone came claiming to fix the fridge. My daughter said there was nothing wrong with it, but they returned. They knew I wasn't home. They used a ladder to enter through the second-floor bathroom window, stalling downstairs to buy time."

Kim lamented the severe financial impact, stating, "I lost more than I earned from a year's worth of filming 'Seaside Village.'" However, she concluded, "Thinking about the futile efforts is disheartening, but life goes on. It doesn't stop you from living."
