Korean actress Lee Min-jung recently gave fans a rare look into her 11-year-old son Jun-hoo's room, who is currently attending an international school.
On October 24, Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' featured a video titled 'First Look at Jun-hoo's Room with His Permission (+Remodeling Day)'.
In the video, Lee Min-jung candidly shared the remodeling process of her son Jun-hoo's room, revealing that they have lived in their current home since Jun-hoo was 27 months old, for about eight years.
Upon seeing children's storybooks in Jun-hoo's room, Lee Min-jung explained, "Since I have a son and a daughter, I can't pass down clothes, but at least I can keep the books for my 16-month-old daughter."
Regarding a baby photo with her husband, actor Lee Byung-hun, Lee Min-jung humorously questioned, "Was it taken after his first birthday? Or before? We couldn't take a 100-day photo, so maybe it was at 8 months? How old does he look?"
Jun-hoo's desk, located in their home in the Gangnam district of Seoul, was also revealed. The desk's board was filled with English words, prompting a staff member to ask, "Does he always write words like that to memorize them?"
Lee Min-jung candidly replied, "The teacher suggested putting them up to remember while passing by, but I wonder if it's really for studying or just for show," eliciting laughter.
Jun-hoo's favorite items were also showcased, including a signed book from 'Napoli Mafia'. Lee Min-jung shared, "Jun-hoo loved it so much. Even when Jang Won-young was at the restaurant, he was more attached to the Napoli Mafia."
Upon discovering Pokémon cards in her son's room, Lee Min-jung expressed her confusion, saying, "I don't understand why he collects these. Jun-hoo calls it an investment."
Introducing the bed, Lee Min-jung mentioned, "We rented the bed. I don't think he's at the age to choose a mattress yet. We'll buy one when he grows bigger."
Reflecting on the room makeover, Lee Min-jung shared, "After having my second child, Seo-yi, I felt guilty for not giving Jun-hoo enough attention over the past four years. He often sneaks into our bed when his dad is away."
Lee Min-jung also gave her son a heartfelt handwritten letter, saying, "Three years ago, when I was pregnant with your sister, it must have been chaotic and upsetting for you too. Thank you for being bright and loving towards your sibling."
