Kim Hee-jung takes on the role of Oh Jung-ran, the wife of Park Tae-ho (played by Choi Jae-sung) and the director of the Adel Gallery. She explained her choice of the role by saying, "I was drawn to the offer of playing a villain after a long time. It seemed like an opportunity for a transformation in my acting career."

When asked what kind of label she hopes to gain from this project, she replied, "I want to be known as a 'wife' rather than a 'mistress'." Kim Hee-jung added, "People often associate me with the image of a mistress or an adulteress. However, in 'Red Pearl', I play the role of the legitimate wife. I hope for a lot of interest," she said with a smile.

'Red Pearl' premieres on the 23rd at 7:50 PM.
