As Jeon Hyun-moo enters the KBS announcer's office, he is warmly welcomed by numerous senior and junior colleagues, bringing smiles all around. Kim Bo-min, a senior announcer three years ahead of Jeon, shares their special connection, revealing that Jeon was the first to cover the birth of her first son with 2002 World Cup star Kim Nam-il.
Jeon Hyun-moo expresses gratitude to Kim Bo-min, saying, “Senior Kim Bo-min specifically allowed interviews only if I came as the reporter. It greatly helped me establish my position as a reporter on 'Entertainment Weekly.' I was very thankful.” Kim Bo-min recalls the challenging times during a prolonged KBS strike, revealing, “At that time, Jeon Hyun-moo donated 20 million won,” surprising everyone. She adds humorously, “It was so much that we had to return some of it.”
Jeon Hyun-moo shares, “As a former announcer, I understand the worry of not receiving a salary even for a month, especially concerning credit card bills,” expressing his concern for colleagues who went unpaid for an extended period.
