Kim Sung-cheol Joins New KBS Drama 'Sleeping Doctor' as Lead Role
Actor Kim Sung-cheol has been confirmed to star in the new KBS 2TV drama 'Sleeping Doctor'. Previously, Kim Sung-cheol shared a romantic storyline with BLACKPINK's Jisoo in the Netflix series 'Monthly Boyfriend', released last month.

'Sleeping Doctor' is a romantic drama set in a struggling private psychiatric clinic, featuring the story of novice entrepreneur Gap Hong-kyung and the highly skilled pay doctor Eul Nam Ji-oh.

Kim Sung-cheol will play the role of Nam Ji-oh, a naturally talented healer and psychiatrist. Nam Ji-oh, who possesses extensive medical knowledge, strives to save the failing clinic of Hong-kyung (played by Jin Ki-joo). Despite frequent clashes over treatment methods and clinic management, he gradually begins to empathize with and feel attracted to her.

Having proven his acting prowess across screens, stages, and OTT platforms, Kim Sung-cheol is set to take on his first doctor role in 'Sleeping Doctor', marking another transformation in his acting career. Anticipation is high for how his broad acting spectrum will shine in this new project.

'Sleeping Doctor' has completed its production preparations and will soon begin filming.
