Actor Kim Do-hoon, who recently faced a dating rumor with actress Kim Yoo-jung, revealed that he developed a trauma during filming.
On the 19th, a press conference for Netflix's variety show 'Mystery Investigation Unit' Season 2 was held at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by directors Jung Jong-yeon, Kim Seo-gu, Lee Won-ki, and cast members Lee Yong-jin, John Park, Hyeri, Kim Do-hoon, Karina, and Gabi.
'Mystery Investigation Unit' Season 2 is an adventure mystery variety show that tracks and solves bizarre incidents that cannot be scientifically explained.
Kim Do-hoon, who was voted the biggest scaredy-cat by the members, recalled 'The Secret of Baeksudam' as the most memorable episode. He confessed, "It was the most intense episode. I never want to do it again," and added, "I blamed the directors a lot during filming."
He continued, "It was tough, but after filming, I went to my parents' house and reflected on what I did, thinking, 'What did I do today?' It was a really well-made story. Even if it were written as a drama, it would be very interesting." He added, "I never want to do it again, but it was the most well-crafted episode."
When asked how he calmed himself after filming, Kim Do-hoon said, "I spent time at my parents' house on sick leave and tried to focus on positive things." He explained, "I developed a kind of trauma from filming, and I didn't feel the need to expose myself to more fear to overcome it. I tried to stay in a happy and bright environment."
He also mentioned, "I used the excuse of being 'bored' to sleep over at a friend's house, telling them it was because I 'missed them,' not because I was scared."
'Mystery Investigation Unit' Season 2 will be available exclusively on Netflix starting the 27th.
