Former Baseball Star Yang Joon-hyuk Joins Celebrity Chefs on Hong Kong Culinary Tour
On the October 5th episode of KBS2's variety show 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears,' Jung Ho-young announced, "I've prepared a Hong Kong tour with my fellow entrepreneurs," as he was joined by Jung Ji-sun and Yang Joon-hyuk. Jung Ji-sun, who was preparing to open a restaurant in Taiwan, expressed his excitement, stating, "I'm considering Hong Kong as a candidate for the second location."
The trio visited a Chinese restaurant located in Hong Kong's Central district. They were amazed by the diverse dishes presented by Chef Lee Man-sing and the large-scale operation that serves approximately 300 guests daily with a staff of over 100. They then visited the West Kowloon Cultural District to explore 'Mosoo Hong Kong,' operated by Chef Ahn Sung-jae. The menu, featuring Hong Kong ingredients and the signature abalone taco, left a lasting impression.
After the broadcast, viewers shared their excitement with comments like "Looking forward to the overseas restaurant opening" and "The food tour was impressive."
Meanwhile, the 351st episode of 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears' achieved a peak viewership rating of 5.5% (according to Nielsen Korea), maintaining its position as the top-rated show in its time slot for 200 consecutive weeks. 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears' airs every Sunday at 4:40 PM.
